Terms of Service
Last updated 26 August 2026
These terms apply to this website and to charters booked through it. Some of what follows is confirmed with you directly when you book, because a charter is a conversation before it is a contract.
Using this site
Prices, trips and availability shown here are current at the time of writing and can change. A charter is confirmed when we confirm it with you directly, not at the moment you submit the form.
The charter concierge on the booking page is there to help and to pass your details to us. It can be wrong. Nothing it says overrides these terms or a price confirmed by a captain.
Booking and payment
Charter rates are shown per trip on the charter pages. Deposit amount, balance and accepted payment methods are confirmed with you when you book — call +1 (727) 697-7626 or email GulfportChartersfl@gmail.com if you want those details before enquiring.
A charter is held for you once the deposit is received.
Cancellations
Cancellations made more than seven days before the trip do not forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within seven days of the trip forfeit the deposit.
If we cancel — for weather or for anything else on our side — you are not out of pocket. We will reschedule you or return your deposit, whichever you prefer.
Weather and the captain's call
The captain decides whether it is safe to run, and that decision is final. Offshore weather in the Gulf changes quickly and a call made at the dock is made with information you cannot see from shore.
The captain may also shorten, alter or end a trip already underway if conditions, safety or a medical situation call for it.
Aboard the boat
Everyone aboard follows the captain's instructions. That is not a formality; it is how the day stays safe.
Fishing is regulated. Seasons, size limits and bag limits are set by state and federal authorities, apply to your catch, and are not negotiable — including when they mean releasing a fish you would rather keep.
Illegal drugs are not permitted aboard. The captain may refuse to sail, or return to the dock, if anyone aboard is impaired or behaving unsafely, and no refund is due in that case.
Risk
Offshore fishing carries inherent risk. Boats move, decks get wet, hooks are sharp and help is further away than it is ashore. You take part at your own risk, and you are responsible for telling the captain about any medical condition that could matter at sea.
You may be asked to sign a separate liability release before boarding.
Photographs
We often photograph catches and may use those photos to show what the fishing is like. Tell the captain if you would rather not appear, and we will keep you out of them.
